I’ve been banking with West Coast Community Bank since they opened in 2004, and I can’t say enough good things about them. I have both personal and business accounts here, and over the years I’ve had multiple business and real estate loans through the bank. Every experience has been smooth and straightforward. What really sets them apart is the personal service, you’re not just another account number. The team knows you by name, and they treat you like a friend. The tellers are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. It’s rare to find a bank that makes you feel this comfortable and supported. Highly recommend!

Applied for PPP covid stimulus as a local restaurant that is a stones throw away from their bank and was declined without a real reason. We are a new business and had confusion about the process, so they said to apply elsewhere. Sadly ironic that as law abiding citizens we closed down when the COUNTY told us to close down and then the COUNTY bank refused to fund our gov backed stimulus loan. They seemingly treat it like a traditional loan and only look out for what is equitable to them.

Not impressed so far. I do most of my banking online, and so far, it seems like the mobile and desktop interfaces have technical issues that don't allow me to log in about 50% of the time. When I am able to log on, the account interface is not very intuitive. As an example, It took me half a day to figure out transfers were hidden in the "bill pay" section....

My bank failed me on PPP. Santa Cruz County Bank came through even though I don't have an account with them. You can say that you care about the community but it is action that proves it. I am switching to SCCB!
