Do NOT get the SOLAR LOAN!!! They take 100% of your payment for almost a year towards interest. Then only a couple of dollars goes towards the principal.

If you do go with the loan, ask for the payment schedule.

I've had mostly bad experiences working to setup my solar loan. I finally got it in a state that I don't have to speak with them and they start spamming me manipulative mail marketing labeled "important, must open immediately". It's typical but what is not is that they won't stop.

These folks go above and beyond. I connected with them for a solar loan after my credit union of 25 years, Navy Federal, turned me down because my employment changed 18 months ago and they insist on 24 months of same employment. I applied for solar loan with Wheelhouse and all my other qualifications out weighed my length of employment and they didn't question my length of employment at all. In addition, their high interest rates on checking and term certificates - combined with their personal attention to details, I am preparing to move all my accounts to Wheelhouse. They give the personal attention lost years ago with banks and credit unions

DO NOT use this credit union for a solar loan. When we first applied, they caused delay after delay to process the loan. When we paid off the loan, they informed us that they had put a lean on our house, and that it was going to cost us $75 to remove the lean. No one bothered to tell us this when we first applied for the loan.

Refinanced one of our cars here today, and previous to this had our solar loan here. They were much better to work with this time around, though the person helping us in person had a lot of issues with his computer and account logins. Once that was fixed, we signed and we're on our way. From 4.94 to 1.99.

So today I came with my father and Diandra was the teller that help me and my father, I must say she was the most helpful teller, I been there before and the other tellers have been very rude to me in the pass and today she help us and she was very helpful answering all my questions, and helping us set up the app so we can see the balance, she was very professional very polite very helpful, They need to train all the tellers to be like her, me and my father had a wonderful experience with her. Very professional since I was translating for my father and she was very patient and very helpful. I gave her personally five stars but nobody else. Because I have had very terrible experience with other employers in there.

I’ve been a member of this CU for almost 40 years. It’s representatives are professional and helpful. Today was first time at El Cajon location. This location is as awesome as downtown branch. Great rates and great customer service.
