I would also give negative reviews if this was possible. I have hardly been paid at all due to the awful tenants they placed in my home. (That are also driving my neighbors crazy due to their awful habits of parking in front of the neighbors mailboxes and on my lawn!)
When asked to keep money in my account to file eviction on the tenants they fail to do so then refuse to pay the $74 upfront for me. When a check is on the way.
I understand they are under "new management" however they need to address their customers that have been screwed by this company and its previous employees.
I would not recommend using this company for property management. At this point I will probably be looking at placing my property on the market instead of continuing to rent. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life.

I normally don't read reviews of anything but I have read the reviews of Whittle & Roper and was seriously contemplating not dealing with this company. All the negative comments were driving me away. I didn't go away, I stayed with the company and I have nothing bad to say about this company. Tucker of Whittle & Roper helped me get the place I was interested in and within a weeks time. The place is fantastic, new refrigerator, new stove, heat and air, new paint and the roof was redone (it was a mobile home). I was handling the details of the sale from a different state and he was very helpful. Was always taking my calls, and if he was busy, he would call me back that day. He even gave me a cell number to call if I had an urgent issue which I didn't. I am not someone who is hired to give good reviews for a company, I am an actual customer. I don't write reviews but felt I needed to for this sale. I see all the comments and these things didn't happen to me in any way. I had a very, very positive experience with Whittle & Roper, Tucker specifically, and I will deal with them again in the future. The ladies in the office were also very nice and accommodating. Explained everything I was to expect with the rent and any fees due. It was a very nice experience. I am very satisfied. Thank you Tucker.

They had six weeks to get the house ready we rented. They were still painting and fixing it the day we were supposed to move on. We were never contacted that it wasn't ready and took the day off work to move. No one had cleaned the house from the last tenants- who had trashed it. Took us a long time to clean it up. The shed out back was falling apart-roof leaked and rotted until daylight could be seen through it. They would never make the owner fix it and we had to make sure our small children didn't go near it due to the hazards. Hard to end your lease with them as well. Would never recommend renting through them.

They managed my inherited property for years. Took them waaaay too much time and money getting them up to renting condition.
“Yeah, they’ll be ready to go next month...
Actually, next month...
Actually, NEXT month. Oh, and could you send us some more money?”
Over and over and over with this. The only reason I put up with it was because I didn’t know any better - and they knew it.
And once they got tenants in place, there were still problems, which were never dealt with properly.
In hindsight, I’m pretty sure I got ripped off for a lot of money. Like - a LOT of money. But I was young and naive, and best of all, out of town.
My mistake was trusting them.
And they weren’t even good at their jobs otherwise. I mean - you’d think that if they were going to pull the wool over someone’s eyes and pick their pocket, they’d at least have a smile on their faces as they did it.
But no such luck.
With the exception of the receptionist, the ground-level employees weren’t even pleasant people. Clearly didn’t care about anything but themselves, and had the attitude that any interaction other than a payment was nothing more than an inconvenience.
I never met the tenants, and I don’t doubt that they were difficult people, but given that they were dealing with Whittle and Roper, I don’t blame them.
If you’re in the position to hire Whittle and Roper - don’t.

The worst property management I have ever had. Michael Eure was our property manager. The following are just a few of the problems we experienced:
- Michael Eure knew weeks in advance what day we were meeting him to move into a vacant home. It was December 15th and when we arrived, the house was below 30 degrees because he did not bother to turn the heat on. After we turned the heat on, he left and shortly after, it was discovered that the heat did not even work downstairs. He then said that it was probably propane and we would need a tank brought out. It was the weekend so we had to wait for a company to come out the following day. Nothing like have 3 small children and trying to move and sleep in a house that was below freezing.
- Michael Eure told us that they paid to have the house (which had been sitting vacant for over a year) professionally cleaned. While we were moving in, it was discovered that NOTHING was cleaned.
- Michael Eure told us to save our receipts and that anything we did to fix the holes in the walls etc. would be refunded to us by the bank that owned the house. After we spent over $700 in repairs, the bank informed us that they never said they would refund us for repairs.
- Our heat stopped working a month after we moved in and Michael did not return our phone calls, emails or text messages. I finally had to contact the bank that owned the house and beg them to send someone out to fix the heat. Anytime we needed repairs we would send Michael Eure emails and text message and he would not respond. We would call the Whittle and Roper office number and not get anyone to answer the phone for days. No one would answer the phone. I would wait a week and contact the bank again to get the repairs done.
- We signed a new lease with the bank and the property management agreement between the bank and Whittle and Roper was terminated yet they are STILL holding my deposit. It has been almost 3 months now. Michael said on numerous occasions that he cut and mailed the check, mailed the check to us weeks ago etc. It has been well over 45 days and my security deposit is still being help.
- Whittle and Roper are no longer the property managers for the home yet they send me a bill each month giving me 5 days to vacate the house. I have a new lease with someone else and need my security deposit back.

Michael Eure is incapable of managing property the way it should be. At least in our experience. I should not have had to go to owner to get problems resolved. In my opinion he was getting paid to do NOTHING! The owner, the bank, are the ones who managed the property. The services received by Whittle and Roper are worthless. Do not waste your time or money.

Would give negative stars if I could. I am a property owner who has been paying this company for 2 years to do what Calls not returned, inept managers. Have only received 2 rent payments since January and its July 9 My property sits empty and I cannot reach anyone .12 years with my old management and never had any problems like this. Should never have switched. Firing them over voicemail since no one picks up the phone.

DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU CAN POSSIBLY HELP IT. I feel sooooo bad for the owner of trl 15. He'd be better off renting it on his own and NOT using Whittle & Roper!! I know from experience. I originally had a applied for another unit 2 months ago. Only to be told they had rented it, but then they tell me that they have #15 available to move into. The old bait and switch the unit was trying to rent was $150 cheaper. This was early August. I let them run the app for this unit because the already had the application fees, they took 2 weeks to get me approved. After I signed the lease Bill THEN tells me the unit isn't even ready!!! But that it should be done by noon...mind you the owner was replacing the floor. When I get there the owner tells me that the unit has been on the market for rent for like 3 months now and Whittle and Roper didn't tell him I was even going to rent the place until 3 days ago! So I was told they would be done by 5pm. I come back no one is there and my keys to the place don't even work!!!!! I still see tools in the floor and trash in the yard! I call the after hours number for maintenance and help & guess what?! THE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED!! Mind you they've had my application now for about 3 weeks if not longer smh.... But the funniest part is to see that they're just now posting the unit as available BUT THEY WERE TRYING TO RENT THIS TO ME AT THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH! Scam artists! On another note, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that there was a tenant of another unit not far from this one complaining for the 3rd time that she has SEWAGE in her yard because of the septic tank backing up. Also please know that you have to call them if you have maintenance issues, then they call the owner, the owner decides to fix it or not, and the management co decides if they're going to do something... so good luck getting things fixed!!! By the grace of God I got my $1500 back because they never even sent the lease to my co signer to sign smh So their own laziness and unprofessional antics backfired on them. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK FROM WHITTLE & ROPER, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

I've been living under this company not even a full 2 months and have had to contact maintenance on 3 separate occasions and each time they are not efficient at all with communication with the resident or their own team. Half of the time they don't even know who they assigned the work order to or when it was entered just sending people to your home. So much for ER maintenance they advertise I had a a/c leak in my home the entire weekend and no one responded.This has been a TERRIBLE experience.
