Woodlake Anchor was the best phone call I placed all year. As a first-time landlord needing to rent a home my parents lived in 30 years, I did not know where to start. Joseph walked me through the process and explained what needed to be done to get the place ready for market. His cost predictions turned out pretty spot-on. Woodlake Anchor took care of everything for me, and Kari did amazing work coordinating the necessary remodeling. They have contractors they work with often, and get better prices than I ever could. The place ended up looking fantastic and we got great tenants a few weeks after completion, for slightly more rent than I expected. I have worked with Woodlake for the past four years, and they have always been consistently wonderful to work with. Kari and Joseph are responsive, communicative, resourceful, and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Their work is detailed and well-documented, which makes my own accounting super easy to keep track of. Most importantly, how they stay up-to-date on their knowledge of California landlord laws, and make sure to let me know of anything important that comes up.

They also go above and beyond. They let me know when things need fixing, and get things taken care of quickly. They have a trustworthy crew of cleanup and maintenance people that come and take care of property management - I have never had any issue with the work their team has done. What I am grateful for, in particular, is they actively consult with me on key decisions - especially during tough rental times (such as during COVID).

Property managers are definitely not all the same - this team is fantastic.

I’ve loved living here, which I understand is a rare experience as a tenant. The property is beautiful, peaceful and has an extensive offering of amenities, but above all, the staff is amazing. I submitted 2x maintenance requests that were responded to within an hour and completed by the next day.
