Don't move to Bell unless you want to deal with problem after problem! I've only been living in my unit for 2 months, and have had to deal with the repercussions of maintenances sloppy work every time! Including damaged refrigerator parts that haven't been replaced, coming into a bathroom with a fan that doesn't properly work, I've been missing a skylight for a month as I was told it'd be replaced within the week! Definitely don't move here if you don't want to also clean up after every maintenance job. You're plumbing's leaking and maintenance has to rip out your entire sink vanity and put it back? Enjoy cleaning up all the wood and plaster chips they leave all over the floor! Or how about the debris that they just let fall through the open hole in your ceiling as they work on the roof! If you enjoy water leaking into your ceiling I would definitely recommend moving into a bell apartment.

0 problems 0 issues living here. Maintenance was quick and willing to fix things that are wrong. All utilities are paid for besides electricity which is amazing. Internet that they supply is super fast. Overall great place to live

We lived in a Bell Property managed apartment for six years. Was it the worst? No. Was it the best? No. If you’re looking for updated/newer appliances, I would recommend to keep looking. Most of our appliances did not work 100% (freezer didn’t seal causing food to thaw, dishwasher wouldn’t clean a tiny load), and maintenance would not replace or fix because they were not “broken.” Management is not 100% timely on responding to inquiries, and do not approach those who are not following the rules and regulations. You’ll receive multiple complex wide notices and nothing changes. Again, I don’t recommend or not recommend renting a unit in one of their properties. However, there are better options available for “value of rent” in the area we lived in.

Bell property management was amazing overall. But there was one property manager Pyx that made our stay there a -0 stars. We were staying at 2585 N Cramer St. and had multiple problems with her we could not even stay there for the full lease. To start it off she was late to our move in day. We had a set time of 8 am and confirmed it with her, she finally came after 2 1/2 hours of us calling, and texting over and over. Then since then she has been nothing but rude and very unresponsive to all our texts. A couple months ago our apartment kitchen sink flooded with nasty unknown dirty sink water. When I got home from work at 8 pm, I tried calling her and asked if we could get maintenance in. She said maintenance is only available at that hour for “emergencies or safety’s to the residents at the apartment.” I was upset with how she dealt with this situation after I sent her pictures and told her that the water was non stop coming out and it flooded all the way to our carpet area. So clearly she doesn’t care about the apartment building or our safety. We had endless amount of times that the laundry here was not doing spin cycles or drying our clothes properly. This caused us to waste countless of quarters on laundry that didn’t work. We reported her our concerns in texts and we barely ever rarely got answers. If we had a better property manager we would probably be staying here again, but we are happy to get out of this apartment!

Love my building management, administration staff, maintenance and community! Bell Property has answered every request to ensure my residential stay has been more than comfortable! If I need anything, it’s done within 24 hours or less. My apartment is kept clean and safe! I am so at home❤️

I lived at 2544 N Frederick for about 1.5 years. My time at Bell Properties was amazing. The building manger by far made it an even better experience, especially with it being my first apartment on my own. She was there if I ever needed anything and always had an answer to my questions. She is very professional and timely and always willing to lend a hand. She cares about her tenants deeply and it makes her that much better at her job. Move in was easy and fast and so was move out, the elevator in the building that is rare within the neighborhood was a plus! Any time I had a maintenance request they were there the same day or next day ready to fix any issue. A plus with that is they have an app that made communication as well as paying rent SO much easier and really convenient. My apartment had new windows with so much natural light that made my apartment feel like a home. Location was awesome. Internet and cable and heat was all included which was another plus! Laundry in the building and covered parking was also very convenient. This company and building manager made my apartment a great place to live!!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. Good luck apartment hunting!

I have been living on the east side of Milwaukee for the past 5 years. Out of the 4 different companies I rented through Bell Property Management was the best. They care about their buildings and the people living there. They choose great apartment managers that are extremely helpful, their maintenance team is super quick and reliable, and the buildings themselves are always clean. Also, whenever I had a question the main office would reply quickly and were always respectful. The one and only complaint I have for the specific building I lived in, is there are 2 washers and dryers for the whole building of 16 units. At times like the weekend it would be busy, but I could always get it done the day I wanted to. I would happily rent through bell properties again.

We lived here for around 2 years, and over the duration of us leasing here with this company - management at the office has only answered the phone once. They do not respond to calls, emails or anything but speak through resident managers. The reason for the 1 star review is due to the fact that they disclosed information about ending our lease early to someone who was not signed onto the lease, and did not inform us but chose to inform someone who did not sign onto the lease.

This month they told us WEEKS after telling someone else who doesn't live here that they want us to move out by the end of June, and by that time - it was a little bit late and one of us got laid off.. which makes it hard to pay last, first and secdepo for another place but they didn't care.. they gave us some bogus letter with a threatening template and charged us a $200 fee instead of TALKING to us about it or answering the phone, they just pretened we don't exist and threaten legal action.

And the worst part is, our vehicle was vandalized in one of their lots and I suspect it was foul play to keep us poor n' to kick us out.. our vehicle had the tires slashed and the windows broken but we still had to pay for parking!

They told someone else, who didn't even live here that we were no longer able to.

Do NOT rent from these people, they do not value you in any capacity and only want your money. And yeah, according to prior reviews over the years - they tend to lawyer up real quick when it comes to it.
